Jamba, Inc: Steven Berrard

Jamba, Inc., Emeryville, CA, has named Steven Berrard chairman of the board of directors. He has also assumed the role of interim CEO and president, replacing Paul Clayton, who resigned those posts. Mr. Berrard led the company’s acquisition of Jamba Juice Company in 2006 and served as CEO of the company prior to that time. Karen Luey has also been appointed vice president, controller and principal accounting officer for Jamba Inc. In addition, she assumes the role of interim CFO, replacing Donald Breen, who resigned that position. The company has retained an executive search firm and will begin a nationwide search for replacements for CEO/president and CFO positions.
